Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use TaskWall. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have your parent’s or guardian’s permission to use the app. By using TaskWall you represent that you meet these requirements.

TaskWall can be used as a guest (no account required) or with a named account linked to your email address or Google account.

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@taskwallai.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
• You may not create accounts using false information or impersonate another person.
• Each person may maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use TaskWall on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

This licence does not include the right to:

• copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app;
• sell, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or any part of it;
• remove any proprietary notices or branding from the app.

You agree not to use TaskWall to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party;
• transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account;
• use automated scripts or bots to interact with the app;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app or its associated services;
• circumvent any technical measures we use to enforce these Terms (such as bypassing the Premium paywall).

You retain full ownership of the content you create in TaskWall (your tasks, goals, notes, and other personal data). By choosing to enable Cloud Backup, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the sync service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose.

TaskWall and all associated intellectual property, including the app, its design, graphics, logos, and the “TaskWall” name, are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence in Section 3.

TaskWall integrates third-party services including Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Firebase, and Supabase. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use TaskWall, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the app shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TaskWall and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TaskWall at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the app at any time. To delete your account and associated data, go to Account screen → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you immediately cease. Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimer), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you via an in-app notice or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using the app and delete your account before the effective date.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the app that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, depending on your location and applicable law.

We encourage you to contact us first at support@taskwallai.com to resolve any issue before pursuing formal proceedings. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
